The property opens directly out onto the pavement of a street with traffic, so we recommend families with young kids to take care when leaving the house. Bedroom 2 on the first level is separated from the landing by a fitted wardrobe divider that has a gap between the top of the wardrobe and the ceiling, meaning that it is not entirely private.
The villa is situated in the centre of the peacefully charming southern town of Santanyí, in the south-east of Majorca. A calming ambience, pedestrian streets weave between golden sandstone houses, some fine restaurants, bars and cafés and galleries and art workshops are all the ingredients that give Santanyí its unique charm. The town also boasts two weekly markets (on Wednesdays and Saturdays), among the nicest markets on the island. A great opportunity for villa guests to learn about and taste tasty local products.
Cala Santanyí is a relaxing beach situated about 10 kilometres from the lovely town. It is made up of fine, white sand and the waters are clear and tranquil. In the near vicinity there are plenty of other excellent options for beach lovers: the scenic harbour of Cala Figuera or the peaceful, cove beaches in the fabulous Mondrago Natural Park. There are also lots of possibilities for wonderful excursions in the surrounding area, including the historic villages of Ses Salines, Campo and Colònia de Sant Jordi, while the capital, Palma, is only a 40-minute drive away.
