This extraordinary vacation property features a special Mallorcan charm and elegant design that creates harmony and a charming atmosphere both inside the house and in the outside areas. The villa is situated in a blossoming landscape full of almond trees. It's a quiet and scenic location at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, yet a well-connected area only five minutes' walk from the lovely village of Alaró, in the heart of Mallorca.
This spacious stone-lined villa offers 3 large bedrooms in the main house and a separate guest or service apartment with a bedroom en-suite. The indoors can be entered through various sliding windows that join the interior with the outdoor terraces and the pool. There is a blooming Mediterranean garden with aromatic plants, a turquoise saltwater swimming pool and many spots to unwind under pleasant shade. Soak up the warm sun and enjoy barbecues with family and friends in various dining areas. If that's not enough, you can find a Jacuzzi outside, too.
The villa boasts a bright and airy kitchen with a large island, plus a charming living room with high ceilings and exposed wooden beams. On the same level, there are 1 bedroom with en-suite bathrooms, a separate bathroom and a glass-panelled room of 70 sq. m with plenty of natural light that is used as a lounge and dining area. The upper level houses a comfy living room, a workspace and 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, of which the generous master bedroom also offers a separate dressing room. A rooftop terrace of about 15 sq. m boasts breathtaking views of the village, the mountains and the surroundings.
Set close to the main house, there is a separate guest apartment with a lovely bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. It also features nearby parking and a pretty outdoor area with flowering plants and trees. Further amenities include air conditioning, underfloor heating, double-glazed windows, Sky TV and natural oak flooring. There is also a tennis court.
Alaró is a secret gem at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains. A traditional town where locals and foreigners come together in a tranquil pace of life, but on lively squares and terraces. The village is situated in the centre of the island, ideally positioned for lovers of cycling, hiking or climbing.
The main attraction in Alaró is the Castell d’Alaro, nestled atop a mountain with some medieval ruins. But what is really stunning are the views from up there at the entire island of Mallorca and the Sierra de Tramuntana. You can access with a two-hour hike from the town or it's possible to drive part of the way up, parking at the restaurant Es Verger, famous for its roast lamb. Once you reach the ruins of the castle you are rewarded with jaw-dropping vistas. You can admire the Mallorcan countryside stretching all the way to the bay of Palma while enjoying a well-earned drink from the bar.
