This charming estate dates back to 1911 and is set in the heart of the Maremma Livornese, on the famous road Viale dei Cipressi in Bolgheri. Its location makes it really special; entering the property you find yourself plunged in the greenery, between the garden, that occupies about 6000 sq. m, the olive trees and the vineyards that surround it as far as the eye can see; to the west lies the sea (20 min) and to the east, the picturesque village of Bolgheri, with its Castle (10 min walk).
This villa sleeps up to 14 guests, between the main farmhouse and the lovely annex which includes an ancient oven, and has been totally restored and well equipped with all the facilities. The main farmhouse on the upper level features 4 bedrooms each with private bathroom, another bedroom with external bathroom and one more bedroom with private bathroom on the lower level. Each room is designed with great care and passion, with the masterful use of color and the blend of antiques and pieces of modern art that give the entire farmhouse a unique personality. The floors are made with the ancient terracotta traditional of the area and the external walls with the exposed bricks typical of the late 19th century farmhouses. The whole villa is fitted with underfloor heating and air conditioning.
The annex includes a bedroom that faces the garden, a bathroom and a kitchenette built around an old oven, carefully restored. It is, as well, equipped with both heating and air conditioning.
The common areas of the villa, such as the spacious dining room and the living room with the main fireplace, are wide open and benefit from large windows facing the garden; the kitchen is equipped with all amenities and next to it, the old hallway has been transformed into a living room with a cozy fireplace. From there, there is direct access the outside where you will find a dining table and a wonderful stone barbecue, as well as a separate lounge area that allows you to enjoy the garden even on rainy days! Also, next to the kitchen, an office/entertainment room has been created with access to a lovely small Hammam.
What strikes the most about the house are the generous spaces and the windows that make you feel plunged into the nature and every room enjoys fabulous glimpses and views of the surroundings. The swimming pool, made of stone, integrates wonderfully in natural landscape of the plot without being visible from the house.
