Salento is an amazing place between its ancient historical centers in the hinterland, which offers beauty and authentic flavors, its popular festivals and wild nature. Facing the Ionian Sea to the west and the Adriatic Sea to the east, this place offers a mix of sandy, stony and rocky beaches bathed by crystal clear water.
At 30 minutes from the property there is the Acaya Golf Club, one of the most picturesque golf courses in Italy. Not far from there, there is also the WWF Cesine Reserve, the last surviving stretch of the large coastal marshes that once characterized the coastline from Brindisi to Otranto.
Less than 30 minutes from the villa you can visit Lecce, a little masterpiece built in the local soft creamy limestone with amazing architectural surprises around every corner and the little town of Otranto, considered since ancient times a natural bridge between the Mediterranean and the East. Less than an hour away it’s possible to visit Brindisi, which is not only beautiful, but hosts a very convenient international airport. At the same distance is situated Gallipoli, with its coast to the north and south well-known for its long sandy beaches and stunning turquoise sea.
