Accommodation at the villa is divided over four levels and three separate guest bedrooms on the grounds. The entrance door leads onto a mezzanine gallery overlooking an amazingly spacious open-plan communal space on the ground level. The double-height ceilings of the central atrium create an unusually airy and peaceful ambiance, the striking geometric design and layout offer constantly changing perspectives, and the huge picture windows provide seemingly limitless variations on the inspiring sea views. Combining white and exposed stone walls adds even more character, while polished grey flooring and tailor-made wooden cabinetry blend stylishly with black metal fixtures and fittings. The same aesthetics, materials, and color palette mentioned above are observed throughout the property and outside, where wood cladding perfectly matches white-painted walls, glass, and local stone.
Steps descend from the gallery into the very heart of the house, a designer modern kitchen with a stylish black island and breakfast bar. From here the space continues further to a dining area and a super-panoramic living area, complete with a large L-shaped sofa and a chaise-longue looking out to sea. A series of glass doors lead out from this communal space onto a lovely shaded sea-view terrace that runs along the entire façade of the property. A guest WC completes the ground level's facilities.
Back on the mezzanine gallery, an open corridor leads to the first of the villa's eight bedrooms, a sea-view double (160 × 200 ) with an in-room walk-in shower, a sink, and an en-suite WC. Sliding glass doors open out onto a panoramic terrace. A pair of staircases from the gallery leads further up to two sleeping wings - east and west - on both sides of the house. The east wing houses one double (160 × 200) and one double/twin bedroom (90/180 × 200), both with en-suite shower rooms, fantastic sea views, and balconies overlooking the terraces, the gardens, the pools, and the sea.
The west wing is spread over two levels. On the first level is a double bedroom (160 × 200) with an en-suite shower room and a shady terrace, while on the second is a double/twin (90/180 × 200) with an en-suite shower room. Both these bedrooms have stunning corner windows designed to maximize the sea views.
A path leads down below the pool to the three independent guest bedrooms, hidden in the aromatic pine woods of the generous grounds. Discreet due to the mirrored glass walls that reflect the surrounding trees, they represent a modern approach to a traditional log cabin, harmoniously immersed in their natural habitat but finished and furnished with comfort in mind. One of them houses a large double bedroom (160 × 200), and the other includes two double-twin bedrooms (90/180 × 200). All three offer decked terraces, en-suite shower rooms, and wonderful views out through the greenery to the shining blue sea below.
As mentioned above, the communal ground level space opens onto a shady terrace running along the front of the house. Steps lead up and down from this outdoor area to different terraces that spread around the house and the grounds. The views over the surrounding pine woods and the glowing sea below are exceptional from all angles.
Just outside the kitchen is a covered alfresco dining area, and, following the contours of the ground level layout, there are numerous spots furnished for sitting and relaxing. Steps from the alfresco dining area lead up to the terrace accessed from the mezzanine level bedroom and connected to a table tennis area and, up a few more steps, to a full-sized basketball court, a dream for sports lovers.
A few meters from the al fresco dining area, sits the first of the two gorgeous pools, a 16m-long infinity pool (16 × 3) perfect for those who like some proper swimming. Two sunbathing areas, including a decked one floating over the hillside, line the long sides of the pool, while to the far end is a cozy cushioned sunken lounge area ideal for the sunset aperitifs.
Steps lead down from the first pool to the second curvaceous form infinity pool (14 × 7) with a beach-effect shallow end perfect for the younger guests and those who love to enjoy more relaxed watery pleasures. Below the pool is a large shower room and WC. Looking over the lower pool is another al fresco dining area and a summer kitchen under a shady pergola. Equipped with a pizza oven, a large barbecue, a bar, work surfaces, fridges, an ice machine, and a dishwasher, it is ideal for both professional chefs and cooking enthusiasts. Last but not least, just beyond the pools to the right of the property is a trampoline (3 × 5m) inviting the more athletic types within your party to have some fun.
The villa sits in a fantastic cliff-top location on the southwestern tip of Lefkada, about a 20-minute drive from the beach, shops, tavernas, and watersports activities in Vassiliki. The area is famous for its towering chalky-white cliffs, magnificent views, and enchanting blue waters. Down below, a 5- and a 20-minute drive away respectively, are the paradisal sandy-pebbly beaches of Porto Katsiki and Egremni, two of the prettiest beaches on Lefkada island. Be aware, that you will have to take a rather steep walk down to these beaches from the car parks.
Other beaches on the west coast can be reached within a 30-minute drive north, including those at Lagouna, Megali Petra and Avali. The capital of Lefkada, Lefkada Town, with its lively summer vibe, restaurants, bars and shops, and its marina, is about an hour away. The property is also well-located for hiking in Lefkada's interior, where the mountains rise to over 1,100m. There you will discover some exceptionally beautiful landscapes and a scattering of unspoiled villages where the way of life stays deeply connected to the island's ancient traditions and customs.
Lefkada measures 35km from its northern tip to the exciting white cliffs of Cape Lefkatas in the south and just 15km from east to west. Due to this fact, it is relatively easy to explore in a week (if you can tear yourselves away from the views and pool of your villa!). At its northern point the island is connected to mainland Greece by a floating bridge and, via frequent ferry services from the port of Nidri, to several of the other islands of the Ionian archipelago (including nearby Meganissi), making it extremely possible to travel further afield.
