Charmingly finished modern interiors opening onto dreamy terraces; breathtaking views over shining waters and magical islands; abundant space for relaxing and sharing pleasant moments; a lovely beach at walking distance; double everything. This wonderful villa is an ideal option for two families traveling together or groups of friends. The property consists of a main house and a separate guesthouse connected by the staircase.
The center stage of the main house takes a spacious open-plan social space. Walls of sliding glass doors on both sides invite the refreshing breeze inside, while those at the front offer seamless access to the terraces and open fabulous views across the sea to the famous islands of Ithaca and Kefalonia.
The style of the main house as a whole and the shared space, in particular, is modern and cozy at the same time. A neutral color scheme, plenty of soft furnishings, and integrated lighting create a peaceful ambiance, while a pleasant combination of wooden pieces and charmingly designed rope and seagrass lampshades set the tone for easy-going summer living. To one end is a cozily furnished living area with a deep L-shaped sofa, a TV, and a decorative fireplace, while to the other is the well-fitted modern-style kitchen with tailor-made, light wood cabinetry, a central island/bar, and a dining table.
A short corridor to one side of the living area leads to the main bedroom, a very bright and generous double (180 × 200). Openings on both sides of a semi-partition wall lead to a beautifully finished en-suite bathroom with a double walk-in shower, stand-alone bathtub, and separate WC. The bedroom and the bathroom offer lovely sea views and sliding glass doors accessing the main terrace.
An opening to one side of the kitchen leads to a corridor, off which is the main house's second bedroom, a double (180 × 200) with an en-suite shower room and wide sliding glass windows opening onto a covered terrace with a sea view. The same corridor goes further past the second bedroom to a flight of stairs leading up to the guest house.
All the rooms in the main house offer outside access through the sliding glass doors and onto a split-level terrace running along the entire façade of the property. 180-degree views of the sea and the neighboring islands make a magical backdrop to your al fresco life. The upper level of this terrace, partly shaded by the overhanging roof, features a long wooden dining table outside the kitchen, and a private lounge area outside the second bedroom. Furnished with quality sofas and armchairs, this is a great place for those who wish to take a break from the sun.
A couple of steps lead down from the upper level to the lower, where polished grey tiles spread out around the wonderful swimming pool (15 × 6), whose cobalt waters, infinity edge, and partially submerged sun-loungers set on a shallow end, are impossible to resist. At one end of the pool you will find a couple of sun loungers, a cozy built-in lounge area, and a shower; to the other is a decked area with sun loungers, and a shaded, well-equipped summer kitchen with a barbecue and bar.
A door at the top of the stairs connecting both houses leads into the guesthouse's communal space, which includes a living area, a kitchen, and a dining table. Although smaller than the main house, the style, décor, materials, and overall quality are the same. A cozy sofa and a couple of chairs are set in front of a semi-partition wall with a TV, and large sliding glass doors allow free flow between the interiors and the terraces.
An opening on one side of the partition wall leads through to a corridor, off which are the two bedrooms, both equipped with double beds (160 × 200) and sliding glass doors opening onto the terrace. The bedroom offers a sea view and en-suite shower room, the second has a shower room on the opposite side of the corridor.
As with the main house, all the guesthouse rooms open directly onto the outdoor spaces through floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. The terrace benefits from a dining area, a mix of quality sun loungers and bean bags, a lounge area, and, being the focal point, an infinity pool (9,5 × 5) facing the scenic views of the Ionian Sea and the islands of Kefalonia and Ithaca.
Nestled on the southern coast of Lefkada above the enchanting beach of Agiofili, the villa faces the sea to the islands of Kefalonia and Ithaca. Just 2.5km around the bay is Vassiliki, a lovely town with water sports facilities, a beach, shops, and plenty of tavernas. Other beaches nearby include those at Ammoussa and Afteli, which are located within a 25-minute drive. The famous beaches of the southwest coast, Egremni and Porto Katsiki, are about 40 minutes away. The capital of Lefkada, Lefkada Town, with its lively summer ambiance, restaurants, bars, shops, and marina, is about an hour away.
The property is also well-located for hiking in Lefkada's interior, where the mountains rise to over 1,100m. There you will enjoy the enchanting landscape and a scattering of serene villages where lifestyle stays deeply connected to the island's old traditions and customs. Lefkada measures 35km from its northern tip to the dramatic white cliffs of Cape Lefkatas in the south and just 15km from east to west. It is, therefore, pretty easy to explore in a week. At its northern point, the island is connected to mainland Greece by a floating bridge, while frequent 1-hour ferry crossings connect Vassiliki to Fiskardo on Kefalonia, making possible your traveling further afield.
