This charming villa is arguably one of the best properties in northeast Corfu. It is just a 35-minute drive from the airport. You can enjoy magnificent views, direct sea access, and use of the estate's jetty (July and August only). This ensures easy access to lovely tavernas, which are only a short boat trip away. Furthermore, Nissaki Beach is a 10-minute walk along the coast. For larger groups, this villa can be rented with its sister property, which provides eight bedrooms in total.
From its setting on the hillside, the villa boasts exciting panoramic views from the south to the west, as well as east over the water to the coast of Albania and the nearby headlands surrounded by the sea of jade green and turquoise. An easy stroll through a gently sloping garden planted with swathes of rosemary, olives, and kumquats leads to a row of small pebble beaches, with a ladder for entering the water and a small mooring buoy, offering guests direct swimming and boat possibilities — the key to the authentic Corfu lifestyle!
The pool level includes the living room, kitchen, and dining areas — beautiful spaces with large, arched balcony doors leading onto the pool area with fabulous views of the Ionian Sea. The kitchen has a central island and provides filtered drinking water. The interior has marble flooring throughout with oak flooring in the living room and master bedroom. The designer used a palette of cool, fresh, neutral colors throughout, with elements of traditional blue both inside and outside to create a modern aesthetic while keeping the genuine Greek ambiance.
The garden level houses a small gym (treadmill, exercise bike, weights, and yoga mats), a laundry room, and 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (2 with shower and 1 with shower and bath). The bedrooms offer double beds, two of which can be separated into twins. Two bedrooms benefit from access to a covered terrace and gardens.
The master bedroom occupies the upper level and enjoys views to the south through a window and west through balcony doors. This bedroom features a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with a charming freestanding bathtub, shower, double sink, and an outside private patio with a shower.
Outside, relax by the freshwater infinity pool (12 × 5m with a 1m built-in kids' paddling pool) or yoga platform with sea views. Enjoy the great choice of secluded lounge areas in the multi-level, tastefully designed Mediterranean landscaped gardens. Descending through the garden you will find another seating area under olive trees, facing west where one can admire the sunset. This leads to the beach with a further terrace with a cane-roofed pergola equipped with a stone dining table for 8, a rain shower, and a changing room/WC, as well as a small kitchen area with a fridge.
The property is situated in Nissaki, halfway between Corfu Town (35 minutes by car) and Kassiopi (25 minutes by car), on a hillside sloping down to the sea and facing south. There are 3 tavernas close by (a short walk or several minutes by car). 20 minutes in either direction will bring you to great tavernas and elegant bars and restaurants of Barbati and Agios Stefanos. The popular 'Afrodite's' supermarket is only a few minutes away at the top of the road. There are also 2 water sports centers in the area.
Nisaki Beach has a lovely taverna, ideal for a lunch or evening drink. Agni Bay is 15 minutes by boat or 12 minutes by car. Kassiopi and Avlaki Beach are 25 minutes by car.
Corfu, celebrated for its lush greenery and picturesque landscape, has become an extremely popular and comfortable tourist destination. This divine island boasts amazing beaches, vivid nightlife, fine restaurants, and boat hopping between small and quaint tavernas meaning that even the most restless of pleasure seekers will be happy!
The northeast coast abounds on enchanting bays and white pebbled coves, higher up, away from the coast the interior is home to birds of prey, rare flora, and rural simplicity. Plenty of water sports possibilities are available on Kalami. This is a charming place to spend a family vacation or a getaway with a group of friends, visit the town for tasty local delicacies, take a small boat to access a tiny taverna for a long, lazy lunch of fresh fish, and come home to a mouthwatering dinner under the stars.
One of the greatest pleasures of this magnificent, wooded stretch of coast is that the sea-fronted properties are easily accessible by boat. You can spend your mornings stopping to swim at one of the pebbly coves, taking in the views of mainland Albania before choosing a new taverna for lunch. Most of the tavernas have their own wooden jetties and their owners will wave you in, catch your rope, and tie up your boat before handing you their menu.
