DLP 0117 is a two-storey villa arranged on the hillside in two pavilions for optimal sea and sunset views. Entering the villa from the car park brings you into to the top floor of the large pavilion that houses an open-plan living and dining area, guest kitchen and chef’s kitchen. The master suite sits in a smaller pavilion connected to the living-dining pavilion via the kids’ playroom. Extending across the front of the top floor is the 18-metre pool and surrounding deck with panoramic views. A central staircase leads down to ground floor where the three guest bedrooms, media room and music studio are situated – all with sea-view balconies.

At the heart of Villa is an open-plan living and dining room that opens to the pool terrace; a place to gather and relax under the gorgeous arched roof. The living room’s soft sofas are positioned to take in the views, while the solid-wood dining table and its elegant red leather seats make every meal feel like a special occasion. A Bose audio system and built-in speakers both inside and out make it easy to set the mood. The modern guest kitchen and breakfast bar sit just behind the dining area, while the chef’s kitchen lies off to the side.

Adjacent to the living area is the colourful kids’ playroom with a good assortment of toys and games, while the media room downstairs offers more entertainment choices. A custom-designed recording studio is available for hire by guests for an additional fee and on approval from the villa owner.

With its 18-metre pearl-toned marble pool and spectacular sea views, Villa’s terrace is a photo-perfect spot. The pool is protected by a fence of transparent panels that keeps toddlers safe while not obstructing the tropical views. Enjoy alfresco meals in the shade of the poolside dining sala or soak up the sun on one of the sunbeds that line the pool.

Master suite

Found in its own pavilion at the edge of the pool terrace and featuring a majestic peaked ceiling, this bedroom is a romantic and private escape that will be coveted by couples. Relax on the four-poster king-size bed and enjoy the superb sea views, or simply slide open the doors to be the first in the pool. The ensuite bathroom is elegantly appointed in white marble with a double bathtub, while its proximity to the kids’ playroom, which includes a comfortable daybed, makes it possible to create a family suite.

Guest bedrooms

Although these bedrooms are smaller than the master suite, each offers an ensuite bathroom and a balcony with sea views that will appeal to guests of all ages. All three bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds and mirrored wardrobes.

Naithon is just nine kilometres from Phuket Airport, yet it retains the aura of an undiscovered beach with its kilometre-long stretch of soft white sand surrounded by forested parkland and a low-key village. Water sports include standup paddling and snorkelling, while vendors sprinkled along the beachfront sell Thai takeaway snacks and fruit. Phuket’s top sights and leisure activities including golf, yacht charters, beach clubs and fine dining are just a short drive away.
