This is one of the newest villas on spectacular, unspoilt Natai Beach in Phang Nga, north of Phuket. Luxuriously private, the villa rests on a secluded beach and has been designed for casual living in natural surroundings by an international team of architects based in London, Milan and Bangkok. The villa is a rustic yet modern beach house, handcrafted from Burmese teak, Thai ceramics, and granite stone.
The teak wood living room is ideal for socialising and relaxation, with open-plan spaces, comfortable seating and modern appliances. Walls of sliding glass open the structure completely, transforming the living room and pool veranda into a single space overlooking an endless beach, the emerald sea, and unforgettable sunsets.
Outdoor living is encouraged at the villa. Attentive staff will happily serve you beverages and snacks at the pool veranda and the beachside sala. In addition, a fully equipped gym, home theatre and five comfortable bedrooms beckon you indoors.
Elegant and earthy, with extensive use of Burmese teak wood, each of the villa’s five pavilions feature lofty roofs and sliding glass doors that can be pulled back for open-air living. The rooms are well-spaced out and private, connected via a winding pool deck.
Which brings us to one of the highlights of the villa, a refreshing 20-metre lap pool, right in front of the beach. Picture yourself sipping a cocktail in the pool or at the outdoor sala, as the sun sets over the vast sea. Marvel at the colours in the sky, while your villa attendants and chef busy themselves crafting memorable dining experiences for you each night.
An idyllic setting for groups of families, it has plenty to keep everyone occupied, including an entertainment room, gym, outdoor living spaces and an abundance of sun loungers strewn around the expansive poolside terrace.
The semi-rural coastline is best explored on bicycles, passing villages, local stalls and the unfiltered Thai countryside. And with a beach club and delicious dining destinations close by, you may even be tempted to stop for a chilled glass of wine on your way back. We won’t blame you. You’re on holiday, after all.
To the left of the main living room is the Master Suite, with Guest Bedroom 5 behind it. On the right of the living room, you will find Guest Bedrooms 2 and 3. The gym, entertainment room and Guest Bedroom 4 are located behind it.
The open-plan living room has a modern kitchen on the left, with a large breakfast bar, and an elegant living room on the right. Meanwhile, a long dining table takes centre stage, all with views of the Andaman Sea beyond the 20-metre pool.
The beachfront pool deck is dotted with eight sun loungers, a dining table that seats eight guests, and a shaded sala with two sun loungers.
The front two guest bedroom pavilions at the villa enjoy unobstructed sea views and have sun loungers directly outside the room, covered with Bimini shades. The other bedrooms, all showcasing Burmese teak wood on their floors, walls and lofty ceilings with wooden fans, are located in the remaining pavilions. Floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors open up to either the main terrace or the walkway and offer views of the pool, sea or the tropical garden.
MASTER SUITE 1
The generous master suite has a beautiful view of the sea and pool. Stylishly furnished with a king-size four-poster bed, it has an ensuite bathroom with a lavish standalone tub, walk-in dressing area, and a private living area with sofas and chairs.
GUEST BEDROOMS 2 & 3
Situated opposite the master suite, and within their own pavilion, two sea view guest rooms offer twin beds convertible into king, a desk, closet area and bathrooms with double vanities and a rain shower.
GUEST BEDROOM 4
Right behind Guest Bedrooms 2 and 3, you will find this partial sea view room, near the gym and entertainment room. Great for young adults, or those young at heart, it is furnished with twin beds that can convert into king, a desk and closet area. The ensuite bathroom has a lovely rain shower.
GUEST BEDROOM 5
For those who like midnight snacks, this guest room is located next to the main kitchen, in a separate pavilion behind the master suite. Offering partial sea views, the room has a comfortable king-size bed, a desk and a closet area. Like the others, the ensuite bathroom also has a rain shower.
INDOOR LIVING
Invariably the social hub of the house, the living pavilion is an elegant, open-plan lounge featuring wooden high vaulted ceilings and tall sliding glass doors on all sides, maximising on views of the sea and pool. Though you may choose to languish in air-conditioned comfort, the breezy room is ideal for indoor-outdoor living, in true island holiday spirit.
The room has comfortable sofa seating on one side, and an open kitchen on the other with a long breakfast bar lined with stools. The centrepiece of the room is a marvellous wooden dining table with 10 chairs.
Stepping away from the main living hub, a gym offers the chance to work out and adjoins an air-conditioned entertainment room. Designed to offer respite from the sun, it is furnished with bean bags and has a 70-inch Smart TV, karaoke set-up and a surround speaker system for your enjoyment.
Opposite this pavilion, tucked away next to Guest Bedroom 5, is a fully-equipped guest kitchen, with all modern equipment, although most guests prefer to leave the cooking to the chef and use the kitchen in the main living area for light snacks or cocktails.
OUTDOOR LIVING
The villa has a sizable outdoor deck with plenty of sun loungers for sunbathing, reading under the shade, enjoying the spectacular sunset, and dining under the stars. The spacious terrace spans the front of the villa and runs across the Master Suite, the indoor living pavilion through to Guest Bedrooms 2 and 3, and verges the 20-metre lap pool.
Enjoy alfresco meals at the outdoor dining table for eight, next to the pool under a canvas shade. A sala at one end of the deck is the perfect place to get a massage with views of the sea, or for a quiet moment.
The villa’s pool spills onto the beach, with tall palms providing shade and a grassy garden for kicking a ball around.
The villa is situated on the unspoiled sands of Natai Beach and boasts a significant 50-60 metres of beachfront with no immediate neighbours. This gives it a sense of complete privacy and seclusion, rare to find in Phuket. The 25-minute journey from the airport to the villa crosses the bridge that connects the mainland to the island. The route passes through charming palm-fringed local villages, offering you a glimpse of the traditional way of life.
A stroll along the beachfront brings you to the jetty. Head here early in the morning to view local fishermen in action. Atleenta Resort and Iniala Beach House are both close by and offer alternative dining options, if you wish for a change of scenery. A dream come true for nature lovers, waterfalls, hot springs and beautiful forest trails wait to be explored inside Ao Phang Nga National Park.
