It’s a superbly sprawling property of almost 100 hectares set in the particularly scenic countryside just outside Pollensa, in the northeast corner of the island. The estate is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens with Japanese and Mediterranean themes. A fragrant rose garden and charming Islamic and Continental gardens, while several plots are dotted with almond, fruit and olive trees. The ground still produces its own wine and olive oil area and an area of the estate still houses farm animals. There are even chauffeur-driven golf buggies to get around the property.
Together with its rustic back-to-nature vibe, the luxury villa offers an incredible range of five-star facilities. One such feature is the deluxe spa, offering everything from sauna and steam rooms to a state-of-the-art gym and heated swimming pool – there’s even a snow room with snowmaking on-demand. The main building houses eight bedrooms sleeping up to 16 guests. Rooms mostly feature flamboyant classical flourishes such as chandeliers and velvet headboards. Ensuite bathrooms come with walk-in showers or freestanding roll-top tubs, plus one features a jetted tub with countryside views while you soak.
A theatrical Italian kitchen comes with top-of-the-line professional country-style appliances, and you can choose to eat in any of two elegant dining rooms. For alfresco cooking, there’s a barbecue and plenty of options to eat outside, too. Kids will love the pony stables, plus there’s a lovely meandering lake you can stroll around. Indoors, you’ll also snooker and cinema rooms as well as a library where you can relax with a book.
As well as being a short drive from the scenic and historic town of Pollensa, staying here also puts you within a 15-minute drive of the Bay of Pollensa with its long sweeping beaches and numerous dining options. The Tramuntana Sierra is also on your doorstep with its abundance of gorgeous hiking trails and cycling routes.
