The dough table, belonging to a family from Pals, an old trunk guardian of memories, the rustic stone and the stairs which lead to the upper floor’s beauty. A small door opens into a room that once was the kitchen of the house and now it is a lounge where you will find several pieces of the original kitchen such as stoves, a washbasin, a fireplace and a stone oven. Thus, there is a pantry to keep your purchases, where you will also find groceries and cleaning products. Next to the pantry there is a bathroom with a sink, a toilet and a stone water pitcher.
The lounge which in the past was villa's kitchen, now it is the playroom in which you will spend long evenings playing cards with your friends, joking and laughing. It is the room that showcases more elements of the authentic structure of the house: the fireplace, the old washbasin and a stone oven placed in the wall where they baked bread.
Large open plan room with access to the outside terrace is villa’s heart. In summer, lunches at the large table will includes lovely dinners outside, illuminated by the lanterns in the garden. However, in winter, the talks will move from the table near the fire. Wonderful bedroom 3 on the upper level has the ceiling made out of wood and tile from the original structure, providing an extra altitude that gives more space to the room. Bedroom 4, located on the upper level, is the most amazing suite of the whole house. Here you may admire the extraordinary rounded archway, discovered during the restoration of the house, which divides the room into two distinct spaces: the bedroom and the living room with a wonderful bookcase originated from a pharmacy of the last century in Barcelona. The bedroom offers double bed (180cm), sofa-bed (150 cm), TV, air conditioner, hot tub, toilet.
Bedroom 5 is placed in the watchtower that during the XVI century was also a strategic point of defence against pirates. The suite offers access to the highest point of the tower, from where you will enjoy a 360º view, including the Montgrí, the sea and the whole Empordà. The suite features 4 twin beds (90 cm), located on two different levels, dressing room, TV, air conditioner, shower and toilet.
The geographic position of the villa provides a wide range of entertainment: nature, culture and gastronomy. Walking, biking, wine tasting... and a few kilometers away you can visit the best beaches of the Costa Brava or the Golf Club of Pals.
