Accommodation is spread over two levels. The main entrance opens one into a bright cozy hallway, off which the ground level rooms flow. To the left is the large, luminous living area, whose double set of French windows both offer access to the gardens and pool and welcome in the picturesque sea views. Deep sofas and armchairs are set around a fireplace and cool pietra pece flooring show off the pristine white walls.
Two doors from the living area open to a guest bathroom and, up a couple of steps, to a generous, airy double-twin bedroom (200/100 × 200) with en-suite shower room and access to the outdoors.
To the right of the entrance hall, a wide corridor adjoins the charming dining room to the kitchen, whose blend of modern style and Sicilian tradition make for a lovely atmosphere in which to whip up memorable meals.
Stairs from the corridor lead up to the first level and the main sleeping area. Here, accessed from a corridor, you will find four bedrooms: the master double (200 × 200) with generous en-suite bathroom with tub and rainfall shower, two more doubles (170 × 200 и 180 × 200 respectively) with en-suite shower rooms, and a double-twin (180/90 × 200) with en-suite shower room. All of the first level bedrooms benefit from enchanting sea views and access to a panoramic terrace that runs along the entire façade of the villa. The corridor linking the bedrooms also accesses a spacious terrace enjoying great views of Mount Etna. Furnishings, fitting and finishes are of a superb quality throughout, making this property a really attractive, high quality residence.
The villa is located in a private spot on the seafront of a large nursery, immersed in greenery. Guests spend most of their time on the sea-facing side of the house, which features panoramic terraced areas, lawns and a fabulous heated pool (18 × 5). Sun loungers border the pool from both sides and several areas are dedicated to dining and lounging with a sea view.
Generous terraces run along both sides of the house's first level, boasting amazing views of Mount Etna to one side and the sea to the other. This latter, east-facing terrace is accessible from the four first level bedrooms. The several hectares of nursery gardens surrounding the property are crisscrossed with a number of paths and peaceful roads, ideal for those wishing to go for a jog or a walk before breakfast.
The villa is located just outside the village of Carruba, about half way between Catania and Taormina. This setting is ideal for exploring Sicily's east coast Ionian Riviera, Mount Etna and the numerous lovely villages on its flanks. There are also several pretty fishing villages and some beautiful beaches nearby. An 18-hole golf course is about 45 minutes' drive away near Linguaglossa.
Further afield, Syracuse, the baroque towns of the Noto valley, the calm beaches of Vendicari and Capo Passero to the south and Messina to the north are all comfortably accessible for day trips. Flying over Mount Etna and many other sites, or excursions to the Aeolian Islands, by helicopter can also be arranged for you. The nearby beaches of Fiumefreddo and Marina di Cottone have received several consecutive "Bandiere Blu", attesting to the cleanliness of the water and their general ecological excellence.
