A fabulous historic villa in Positano with a spectacular view of the Mediterranean sea, it is one of the most exclusive villas in the whole Amalfi Coast. This elegant home is situated near the town centre and features its own private swimming pool and magnificent views over Positano and the Mediterranean Sea. Built in 1741, its pink exterior makes this villa a really extraordinary building – both inside and out.
Totally refurbished in 2013, the villa has been carefully renovated with no expense spared. The result is a chic property with exclusive features like frescoed walls and hand painted tiles on terraces and in bathrooms. All the bedrooms and suites are decorated in an elegant style that depicts the time when the villa was built.
In total, this generous villa includes 8+2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 20 guests - making it perfect for spaecial events. Weddings and other celebrations are often held here considering that the villa and its vistas create such a unique setting. Ceremonies with Positano view, followed by the feast in the gardens or on one of the numerous terraces, help to create an irresistible atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy the vibe.
Villa's gardens are also spacious, adding further to the romance of the rpoeprty. The main terrace on the garden level runs the entire length of the villa under a pergola, offering shade and dappled light. From this terrace, you can enjoy panoramic views of Positano and Capri. The swimming pool, on the terrace adjacent to the main one, is equipped with sun beds to relax upon while admiring the same awe-inspiring views.
Inside, the dining room and living room keep the magnificent feel of the villa. The dining room, for example, is two level high with a vaulted ceiling and two antique dining tables. In the living room, just off the dining room, there are three lounge areas for relaxing. Double doors also open on to the main terrace creating easy indoor outdoor flow.
Bedroom suite 1 has queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and double doors that open to the shared terrace. Bedroom suite 2 features queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and a large seating area, double doors open onto the shared terrace and a west-facing balcony that overlooks Positano. Bedrooms 3 to 8 each offers a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower and French windows leading to the terrace. All bathrooms boast antique Neapolitan ceramic mosaics dating back to the 1700s.
In the attic you will find 2 brand new suites, furnished in a contemporary style, each sleeping up to 4 guests. These suites can be booked on request at an additional cost.
For those who need to work a little during the vacation, there is a library equipped with a scanner, fax and photocopier – in addition to Wi-Fi. Guests will also can use an iPad and iPod with Bluetooth capability. Finally, in terms of on site catering, the kitchen is professionally equipped and a private chef makes delicious meals every day. Guests can even have a cooking class during their stay, should they wish.
The villa is fully staffed. The private chef works 8 hours a day, with cleaning staff in the villa from 8 am to 4 pm. A gardener comes to the villa for 4 hours each day. A concierge service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

In the center of Positano is Spiaggia Grande, the biggest beach in town. It's the most popular too offering numerous bars, restaurants and beach clubs. You can walk to Fornillo beach from Spiaggia Grande, via the "Lovers' Walk". Located in a bay, this little beach is surprisingly calm and peaceful.
