Dating back to the late eighteenth century, this fabulous mansion-palazzo is situated in the historic and pulsating heart of Naples. Soaked in history, elegance and legends, its frescoed rooms and carefully selected furnishings will take guests on a journey through time. The building is an architectural gem, the result of the genius of Luigi Vanvitelli, author of the original project that gave this palace its glory and refinement. Its frescoed and stuccoed vaults are the work of famous authors of the time such as Fedele Fischetti, Francesco Fuga, Mario Gioffredo and the Desiderio brothers. The most stunning room is certainly the Mirror Gallery, from whose balcony on 7 September 1860 Giuseppe Garibaldi looked out to announce the joining of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies to Italy.

Palazzo has undergone significant restoration works (lasting 3 years and finished in 2020), giving new light to the ancient glory, which had been abandoned for several years. With a living space of 1150 square meters, it features a series of spectacular rooms full of frescoes, tapestries, stuccos and precious tapestries, as well as 6 chic bedrooms. Guests also enjoy access to the panoramic terrace on the top level of the building, easily accessible by lift.
Palazzo has its main entrance on Piazza VII Settembre, from here you enter the hexagonal hallway and go further to the monumental staircase connecting the floors. Inside, stuccoes, gilding, mirrors, excellent ceiling decorations by Fischetti adorn the building.
Bedroom 1: 55 sq. m with oak wood floor with geometric motifs with ebony inserts, Persian rugs, and a pair of Murano chandeliers. The four-poster bed in carved wood with scroll motifs, decorated with precious ruby red embroidery on silk. Along the wall in front of the bed there is a large wooden wardrobe with 4 doors, one side of which hides a 42-inch plasma TV, safe and minibar. On the same wall there are two balconies facing via Toledo. Next to the bed there is a door to the bathroom (9 sq. m), with floor and double sink in white Carrara marble, shower with glass door, toilet and bidet. The walls are covered with ancient hand-painted majolica, in addition, the bathroom is equipped with towels, bathrobe and slippers, hairdryer, heated towel rail, as well as set of toiletries including shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, soap and body lotion.
From the dining room, a corridor leads to the boudoir/bedroom2, you immediately enter the bathroom (20 sq. m), with white Carrara marble floor, vaulted ceiling with blown glass chandelier and ancient hand-painted majolica along the walls. Two hand-painted wooden screens separate the sink area and the shower area from the entrance. The bathroom features a shower with glass door, toilet and bidet, single sink in white Carrara marble, towels, bathrobe and slippers, hairdryer, heated towel rails, an imposing wooden wardrobe with two doors, in addition to the bathroom amenities (shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, soap and body cream). The balcony in the bathroom overlooks via Maddaloni.
Going beyond the bathroom you enter the bedroom (40 sq. m), set at the corner between via Toledo and via Maddaloni. The floor is in Venetian seminato, the ceiling is frescoed with the Aurora scene and is illuminated in the center by a superb blown glass chandelier, the room offers three balconies, two overlooking via Maddaloni and one along via Toledo. All walls are adorned with gilded metal castings framing mirrors overhead consoles. In the center of the room there is a queen size wooden sleigh bed. A built-in wardrobe hidden among the decorations covered inside in turquoise velvet contains the safe and the minibar and a comfortable support. The 42-inch TV is set on a self-supporting shelf with complete SKY package, the room is also equipped with independent air conditioning and heating.
The bedroom 3 (40 sq. m) has its main access from the hallway of the internal courtyard. The ceiling is frescoed with allegorical scenes inspired by the god Mercury and is illuminated by a blown glass chandelier, the floor is in terracotta covered with Persian rugs, along the left wall there is a balcony overlooking via Toledo. The king-size bed is in valuable ocher-colored fabric with a headboard upholstered with gold-colored damask silk. The room is equipped with 42-inch plasma TV with full SKY package, safe and minibar. The 6 sq. m en-suite bathroom with floor and sink in white Carrara marble, shower with glass door, toilet and bidet, has the walls covered with ancient hand-painted majolica, moreover, it is equipped with towels, bathrobe and slippers. hairdryer, and toiletries including shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, soap and body cream.

Spend the day in the heart of the city. Start with the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli, packed with treasures from Pompeii and Herculaneum, then stroll through narrow streets lined with ancient buildings and pretty churches to arrive at the amazing cathedral of San Gennaro. Take a bus to Capodimonte and visit the palace museum. Chiaia is considered Naples’ most refined quarter, with designer shops and the famous seafront, a long but pleasant walk starting from Castel dell’Ovo, a fortress resembling a cliff of volcanic rock rising from the sea, and finishing in Mergellina, an ancient fishing village that is now the city’s tourist port.
Take a walk along Via Posillipo, which follows the promontory just north of the city, offering fabulous views.
