Rooted in the mountain and with its eyes on the Ionian Sea, Villa is a magnificent house, every single inch of which was designed and decorated with taste and love. Villa will not be just your marvelously unique experience of today, but an everlasting beloved memory in the days to come, as well.
Villa measures 150 square meters, guaranteeing unmatchable comfort and ample space for up to 6 persons. It is a ground floor villa with a unique design, concentrated on blending with the gorgeous surroundings. The guests are welcomed by a spacious, open-plan living room, perfectly combined with the state-of-the-art kitchen. Here, a comfortable double sofa can be converted into a double bed, so that two persons can sleep while having access to a separate guest WC.
Such a perfection culminates in the two Master bedrooms, each equipped with a king-sized bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower. The mattresses are of exquisite quality, featuring the CocoMat, which offers you the perfect rest!
The outside spaces are the ideal place to relax, either in the furnished outdoor dining area, on a sunbed or in the fabulous swimming pool, which, except for the lovely views of the surrounding area and the sea, offers a whirlpool function as well! A vegetable garden with the fresh offerings of the Zakynthian earth is always at your disposal, and there is also a kiosk where, at a surcharge, you can enjoy massage and beauty services.
One of Villa’s characteristics we take special pride in – and they are certainly many – is our cellar. The uniqueness of this space is not represented solely by its sublime decoration and the vintage aesthetics of high quality, but from the fact that our cellar was hewn into the bedrock of the mountain. The cellar features with stylish, vintage furniture and elegant wine storage cabinets; the latter contain exclusively Zakynthian wines from various grape varieties and rare, old traditional wines.
Accompanied by an experienced Zakynthian winemaker, guests can taste any wines they choose, with a surcharge. Furthermore, the owners can open the cellar for the guests, so that they can choose any wine they prefer, even without tasting; the corresponding price of the wine will be charged.
Villa is located in the village of Exo Hora, on the western part of Zakynthos Island, 29 km away from Zakynthos Town. This quaint mountain village is largely untouched by commercialized mass tourism and retains its traditional character to a substantial degree.
The area is home to one of the oldest olive trees in Greece, with an age of more than two thousand years. Here one can also see the ancient wells which still provide water to the residents, while a majestic Sycamore Tree overlooks the heart of the village and is the central meeting point of the village residents where the many gatherings are held.
You can enjoy local fare and wine and with some of the islands most picturesque villages on your doorstep with authentic local products. Some of the most impressive beaches of the island are easily reached – with beaches such as Makris Gialos, Porto Roxa and the world famous Navagio (Shipwreck beach) located just a short drive away, Villa is the perfect holiday venue.
