A stay at PRF 0407 is a real provençal dream come true. Describing the charm of this estate with words is almost impossible — one truly must experience it in person. From the moment you cross the gates of the long drive, you will find yourself in a world of vineyards, lavender, olives and stonework. You can almost instantly smell the garden aromas and sweetness of the place.
The 18th century mansion itself has been flawlessly renovated. The interiors demonstrate an abundance of light, comfort and refined décor. Each room has been designed for entertainment and relaxation, whether that is curling up on a couch reading your favorite book in the lovely library or gathering together over a board game with your family and friends in the generous lounge.
Guests here like the numerous outdoor terrace areas surrounding the house, shaded by large plane trees, garden colors, and relaxing sounds of the fountains. The spacious pool area is set just past the front terrace, with ever more grassy green lawn and garden spaces beyond. There is truly endless space for guests of all ages to enjoy.
The welcoming staff are kind and helpful. While attentive, they also respect your privacy. Each staff member speaks English, and works constantly to maintain the impeccable, high standard of the property.
For those wishing to take day-trips, the estate is perfectly set in the golden tourist triangle of Provence Bouches-du-Rhone department, between Aix (15 minutes), Salon de Provence (20 minutes) and Marseille (20 minutes). The estate is a 15-minute drive from the historic and cultural center of Aix-en-Provence with its lively cafes, famous markets and boutique shops. In 45 minutes from Lubéron, Alpilles (Les Baux de Provence, St Rémy de Provence, Maussane les Alpilles) and the Alps ( Manosque), you can really get to know the Provençal hinterland through short day trips.
For the lovers of the sea bath and Mediterrannée in particular, you can go on the Blue Coast (la Cote Bleue) to Carry-le-Rouet, Sausset-les-Pins, Ensues-la-Redonne (20 minutes) or in Cassis (45 minutes); you will discover amazing creeks there to be crossed on foot, as well as places of bathing (sandy beaches or rocks) wild and protected.
