Nestled upon its hilltop, this magical château delicately dominates a unique domain, quite unlike any other. On the one side, gentle wavy endless hills. On the other, the valley and the village of Saint-Emilion spread out under your feet. And all around vines, bushes, hedges, lanes and low stone walls.
Staying at this estate is about experiencing a fantastic feeling evoking the most pleasant emotions. Attention to detail is crucial to showcase the spirit of a place that is much more than just a wine estate. Here, the art of hospitality takes a new meaning. The charming living area is the perfect place to get together, socialize and share your impressions and emotions, or immerse yourself in one of the treasures discovered in the bookcase. On sunny days, the terrace welcomes you to relax and daydream. Guests staying in all accommodations will begin the day with a hearty breakfast of seasonal fruit and juices, homemade jams and pastries, cooked by the chef David Charrier. During your stay, you will be suggested some tours and activities to explore the surroundings of the property.
The estate offers several options for accommodation.
Option 1: house with living room and two double bedrooms. Located down a lane, set amongst the vines, this house is typical of the local landscape. A 20-minute walk from the centre of Saint-Émilion, it provides an enchanting romantic setting in the estate. The sweetness of life fills the days spent here, whether by the fireplace during the winter months or on the private terrace in the summer.
Option 2: suite with living room and two double bedrooms. Christine Valette, an iconic person for the estate, loved painting from the first level of this house. The view is endless, stretching from the park around the château to the village of Saint-Émilion, over the vineyards. The lovely living room, with its fireplace, welcomes you to sit back and relax.
Option 3: double bedroom with reduced mobility access. Hidden under the wisteria that covers the side of the house, this dark-paneled bedroom, with its late 19th-century decor and carmine fabrics, is a reminder of the time one of the estate owners lived here.
Option 4: spacious double bedroom with a living room and desk. From this generous bedroom, set under the rooftops, the view is especially magical. Warm and comfortable, it invites one to forget about everyday worries while enjoying magnificent sunsets going down over the horizon.
Placed in the heart of the property vineyard, the Michelin-star restaurant offers a rare and chic setting from which to enjoy the cuisine of Chef David Charrier.
