Villa combines contemporary architecture with charming rustic style. Whitewashed walls, vaulted ceilings, sumptuous white furnishings and cool stone flooring create the perfect canvas for antique Asian artefacts and original artwork, lending the villa an air of tasteful elegance.
Well arranged across two levels and three pavilions, Villa allows each guest their own personal space. The main living pavilion houses an open-plan informal lounge area and kitchen, with indoor dining for eight. Full-length sliding glass and white louvred doors lead out to the covered balcony. An infinity pool and lawned sun terrace are the other side of the main living area. The second pavilion houses the master bedroom, affording it unparalleled privacy. In the third pavilion are four double bedrooms, one pair above the other.
Contemporary style meets whitewashed beach-house. The living area is open-plan and genuinely tropical. You may be tempted to leave the sliding glass walls open all day so that indoor living here feels almost outdoors, though they can of course be pulled if you want to keep the room cool. The interior features whitewashed walls, white flooring with gorgeous white rugs for that ’at-home’ feel and white custom-made sofas and furnishings with bold black and white patterns. The décor is an eclectic mix of antiques, wooden statues and artwork, and fans hanging from the high-vaulted ceiling allow the air to circulate.
The kitchen is modern but informal, and features a breakfast bar with four stools. This may just become the social hub of the villa; a place to converge over a tub of ice-cream or a light bite. A dining table sits four inside , whilst a three-metre-long solid wood table seating eight stretches across the covered balcony with more coveted ocean views. An indulgent complimentary breakfast is served here every morning. The balcony blends into the terrace that surrounds the entire living area, furnished with six rattan easy chairs and a coffee table. It’s a great place to kick back, relax and enjoy a movie, read a book, catch up on your emails or just let time stand still and be mesmerised by the perfect sunsets. WiFi is available throughout the villa as well as satellite TV viewed on high-definition LCD flat-screens.
The 21.3-metre saltwater infinity pool has wide gentle steps down into its depths. Instagram-friendly, it is the perfect setting for those enviable tropical ocean-view shots. A large lawned sun terrace beckons you to soak up some sunshine, elegantly draped on one of the four sun loungers. Stone steps built into the hillside lead down to the sea and there are a couple of shaded levelled areas here , ideal for some solitude and reflection or just for listening to the gentle sounds of the ocean on the rocks below.
All five bedrooms at Villa continue with the clean white theme and showcase eclectic antique artwork and décor. They all have king-size beds, ensuite bathrooms with rain showers, full-length windows with magnificent hillside and sea views from both the bedroom and ensuite bathroom, high vaulted ceilings with fans, air conditioning, a digital safe, WiFi and satellite TV with high-definition LCD screens and an outside balcony area.
MASTER BEDROOM 1
The master bedroom is set in a stand-alone pavilion with wide, floor-length windows looking out over the tropical hillside and sea. Wake up to views that you only imagined in your dreams. The comfortable sofa and armchairs both inside and out on the balcony, are perfect for lazy mornings, and make cosy nooks when you want some me-time. The huge ensuite bathroom has a central freestanding bath in addition to a rain shower, and full-length sliding glass walls that allow gentle sea breeze to circulate.
GUEST BEDROOMS 2, 3, 4 AND 5
In the other pavilion, bedrooms 2 and 3 are next to each other, on the same level as the living area, while bedrooms 4 and 5 lie below, accessed via wide steps leading down to the sea. Inside, each room has a king-size bed, two armchairs and a coffee table along with full-length sliding glass walls. A shared balcony between the two bedrooms on each level is the perfect place to catch up on gossip over a cup of coffee.
