This lovely family owned villa is located in the northeast of the island close to Pollenca. The moment you drive into the well-kept gardens through the gates, it becomes clear that every detail has been thought through to grant you the superb and comfortable holiday.
Set in the calm residential area of La Font, villa is built at the base of the spectacular Tramuntana Mountains and offers the ultimate environment for a relaxing holiday. The villa is surrounded by the picturesque Spanish countryside, yet it is within walking distance of the lively traditional old town of Pollenca and the famous turquoise water and sandy beaches of Cala San Vicente and Puerto Pollenca are only 5 minutes drive away.
With 5 en-suite, air-conditioned double bedrooms the property comfortably accommodates 2 families and offers privacy for all. At the first level you will find 3 double rooms to the front of the house facing the garden and pool, and a further double bedroom with balcony to the rear with mountain views & its own private terrace. The fifth double bedroom is placed on the ground level, also offering a private terrace facing the garden and mountains and direct access to the garden.
At the first level the living room, study and sun room are designed as one generous space with exposed beams and balconies at both ends providing plenty of space to relax, unwind and enjoy the quiet of the area.
On the ground level, a spacious open plan kitchen/living/dining area, designed with an indoor-outdoor vibe and flow, offers dining for up to 12 guests, along with an kitchen island for 6 people to sit, as well as a large and cozy lounge, sofa/TV corner all with a dual aspect overlooking the pool and bar areas.
Walking out of the kitchen/dining area there is a wide covered terrace with bar, table tennis, BBQ and an large built-in sofa - great spot for morning coffee, afternoon nap or evening drinks. The covered terrace leads onto a beautifully designed shaded pergola with al fresco dining for up to 20 guests. With views to the pool one side and mountains the other this is a lovely space for breakfast, lunch and supper.
The heated feature pool (11 x 4 m) is located to the front of the house with sun loungers for 12 people and a daybed where you can sit and admire the gorgeous mountains. A further lounge area nestled in the garden offers another unwind & relax space, whilst a hammock invites for private rest in the shade of the palm trees.
Pollenca is a well-known holiday destination for families, cycling & walking holidays, or for a group of friends. It is close to Formentor, Cala San Vicente, Bon Aire & Alcudia. Some of the main attractions include:
- plenty of family-friendly beaches to explore, with beach bars open throughout the season;
- water sports including: sailing, boat rental, water skiing, kayaking, SUP/ paddle boarding;
- fabulous kite surfing (on the Pollenca beach close to Alcudia);
- mountain ranges (over to Formentor & across to Deja/ Soller) to walk/climb or cycle;
- the old towns of Pollenca & Alcudia - for shopping, eating & drinking;
- it is also an easy 40 min drive up from Palma airport.
Pollenca is a wonderful old town offering everything for the best holiday, from amazing architecture, fantastic views over the surrounding area to a wide choice of traditional tapas restaurants as well as many others, numerous boutique shops and art galleries. The Sunday market at Pollenca is especially lively with stalls selling local fruit & vegetables and there are lots of festivals to enjoy 'Spanish style’ throughout the year.
The Cala San Vicente area offers 4 coves and 2 small but lovely sandy beaches, with beach bars (open during the season) ideal for beach-style eating & drinking. Cala San Vicente is a perfect place to go snorkeling, swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding, there are also caves to explore.
Puerto Pollenca boasts a long wide sandy beach ideal for sunbathing, family activities, evening sundowners, beach volley ball & a wide choice of water sports. The beachfront promenade is ideal for walkers, joggers, buggies & scooters. There is also plenty of cafes, beach bars, tapas & fine dining restaurants, as well as an ever-increasing number of boutique and bucket & spade shops.
