This excellent 5-bedroom villa is an exclusive retreat at Anse Gouvernement Beach on Praslin Island, just a 20-minute drive from Praslin Airport through Vallee de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Boasting a generous plot of 5,300 sqm, it is one of the rare properties with a private beach and direct sea access, ideal for island exploration by private boat. Surrounded by majestic granite boulders and overlooking the turquoise sea, this private residence offers exceptional views, premium amenities, and discreet service.
Perched amongst lush tropical greenery and designed to echo the untouched beauty of Seychelles, this property (710 sqm) is a harmonious mix of contemporary architecture and natural elements. With five elegantly decorated bedrooms, spacious living areas, and three swimming pools, this villa provides the perfect getaway for families and friends.
On one side of the villa, wonderfully maintained tropical gardens greet guests upon arrival. On the other side, large terraces offer ocean views, and wooden stairways lead down to the white-sand beach with imposing granite boulder formations and crystalline waters. Guests can enjoy a private sandy coast, perfect for beach parties or evenings around a twinkling beach fire.
Besides direct beach access, the villa features three outdoor swimming pools (a large infinity pool and two smaller plunge pools). After the reingorating swim, guests can sunbathe on sun loungers or relax with a refreshing drink in the shaded outdoor lounge. Dining al fresco is a special delight at this chic villa. Savory meals prepared by the private chef create long-lasting memories of ocean-view lunchtimes or dinners under a canopy of stars.
Consisting of three separate houses, the property is perfect for families or groups of friends travelling together. The villa was constructed with its surrounding environment in mind, using natural and complementary building materials to integrate into the natural setting. A tropical colour palette, natural elements, and floor-to-ceiling windows opening ocean views create a laid-back ambiance and genuine island vibe. Guests can enjoy reading in the cozy lounge, watching a film in the lovely TV room, or having a refreshing drink at the bar. The property also benefits from a well-stocked wine cellar where guests can choose the perfect complement for a stylish dinner party.
The villa sleeps up to 10 guests in five beautifully designed bedrooms. The three bedrooms in the main villa all offer lounge areas, en-suite bathrooms with outdoor showers, and private terraces with enchanting ocean views. Two bedrooms feature double beds, while the third has a double bed, plus two single trundle beds, perfect for kids. Both guest houses include a double bedroom with en-suite facilities (and outdoor shower), lounges, wardrobes, and a private ocean-view terrace with a plunge pool.
The main house includes a fully equipped kitchen, TV lounge, dining/living room, bar, terrace, and guest WC. The lower level features a laundry room, wine cellar (wines and champagne), staff quarters, and parking.
The villa is fully serviced, including a manager, a chef preparing culinary delights with Creole flavours and international cuisine, housekeepers, a butler, and a gardener. A boat with a skipper (for fishing or excursions) is available at an extra charge. Entry to the property is via an automatic gate, plus the villa is equipped with an alarm system, and there is a safe in each bedroom.
The villa is nestled on the shores of Anse Gouvernement Beach in Praslin, the second largest island in the Seychelles archipelago. The island’s longest beach, Cote d’Or, is also within walking distance (or a 4-minute drive), whilst a short drive away, you will find other must-visit beaches, such as Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette.
Guests can enjoy various water sports in the crystal-clear water surrounding the islands, including swimming, surfing, windsurfing, sailing, and kayaking. Snorkellers and divers can swim with an exciting array of marine wildlife, such as parrotfish, angelfish, starfish, octopuses, stingrays, grey reef sharks, and endangered hawksbill sea turtles. Just a short boat ride away are the must-see islands of La Digue, Curieuse, and Felicite, famous for their white sands, ancient granite boulder formations, and unique fauna.
Praslin Airport is just 20 minutes away via a picturesque route through Vallee de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage nature reserve. The Vallee de Mai is home to the famous Coco de Mer, a rare palm with a uniquely-shaped fruit endemic to only two islands in Seychelles (the other being Curieuse). The reserve is also home to several other unique species, including the rare Seychelles black parrot, sunbirds, bronze geckos, and tiger chameleons.
