The villa is nestled in the Tuscan countryside between Florence and Arezzo, within the Valdarno area. Here, the rolling hills are dotted with spectacular steep ridges eroded by rainwater (the so-called “balse”). The most famous artists of all time have been enchanted by this landscape, even Leonardo da Vinci selected its forms as backdrops to some of his most renowned paintings, including the Mona Lisa. Beuatifuk castles, such as Castello di Sammezzano, and scenic villages, such as Figline Valdarno, closest to the villa, make this landscape really charming. Not far from the villa lies another world-famous area: Chianti. The perfect destination for food and wine trips, and visits to local craft shops. The villa is easily accessible from Florence airport, which is less than an hour’s drive away.
