Charming villa near Florence is an elegantly renovated estate built in the 18th century, surrounded by 32 acres of private garden and evergreen forest right in the distinguished Chianti countryside. This is a haven of quiet and privacy, equipped with all the comforts and facilities you expect from a chic mansion, yet very close to all the main attractions of Tuscany.
All the interiors have been restored by a Italian designer, Ilaria Miani, who worked to ensure that the beautiful historical soul of the villa harmoniously coexisted with a contemporary and vivid taste for colors, space, and light. All the furniture is selected from an immense collection of family antiquities, from inlaid Tuscan tables from the eighteenth century to Venetian wooden armchairs from the 1700s, and combined with unique modern furnishing and high-level amenities.
Take a stroll in the private park, following old Tuscan routes that boast the most stunning views. Enjoy a cup of freshly-toasted coffee on the garden overlooking the unique landscape of Florence, from the Giotto’s Belltower to Brunelleschi’s Dome. When the sun is down, take a swim in the heated pool, the starry sky as your ceiling.
Welcome to the living area of the villa, the ideal place to unwind and spend quality time with the people you love. Read a book or watch a movie in the spacious living rooms, have breakfast with the whole family, or enjoy the best dishes of Italian cuisine in the generous dining room overlooking the gardens.
The ground level of the villa includes a bright living area of over 250 square meters. The stylish areas offer all the space you need for absolute relaxation and private hideaway. All rooms, from the kitchen to the living rooms, have been individually furnished and equipped with the high-end amenities to ensure the highest possible comfort. On the same level, there is also a spacious master bedroom with a roomy closet and en-suite.
Two lovely living rooms are filled with handpicked neoclassical antiques, like the 18th-century inlaid Tuscan tables flanking the pietra serena door frame, and freshened up by the interior-designer Ilaria Miani. An authentic Tuscan fireplace adorns one of the rooms, and it's ideal for creating cozy ambience during the colder seasons.
The generous kitchen is perfect for cooking up tasty Italian meals or taking cooking classes with a personal chef. The room is completely refurbished, with marble-topped Tuscan tables, a 19th-century cupboard, and the most up-to-date appliances.
On the east side of the ground level, you find a bright bedroom with a king-size bed, 18th-century furnishing, and chic Italian linen. The views from the two windows are amazing, and the room has a large closet and a completely refurbished en-suite. A door opens on the garden, close to a table for a more private breakfast or an aperitif.
There are few things as important as a good night of sleep, so the first level of the villa is designed to make sure that you always wake up happy and refreshed. All rooms are quiet, cool, and cozy, with suite-level amenities and a fabulous view from the windows.
The first level of the villa can sleep up to 12 guests in its spacious bedrooms equipped with all comforts. All the rooms grant the best privacy possible and have an en-suite. All the bathrooms are equipped with showers, and two also have premium bathtubs. Two rooms offer twin beds and four bedrooms have king-size beds, while there is a large dressing room where you can easily store everything you packed.
Each bedroom has its individual style and an almost artistic taste, with its bold colors, the rich draperies, and the mix of antique furniture, lithographs, and custom design lamps. Yet, comfort and classic elegance are a common theme between them. The fully refurbished bathrooms offer the same level of quality and attention to detail as the rest of the house. All the en-suite feature clean and essential lines, premium fixtures, and the best Italian design showers and tubs.
An old dovecote, the ocher-hued tower is now a lofty living room that boasts dominating views of nearby Florence and the emerald-green countryside. Between the second level and the living room, you will find the most private of the bedrooms in the villa, on a light and lovely mezzanine consisting of a double bedroom with en-suite, while the top level offers a large living room with four wide windows. The bed is dressed with a cover of premium linen, the Venetian chairs are dating to 1800, and the desk is from the late 19th century. The wall is decorated with 19th-century French engravings, while the floor is covered in terracotta tile.
At the top of the tower, with 360-degree views of Chianti, Florence and the Appennine Mountains, the living room is the gem of the property. You can even observe the seaside in the distance. The bamboo shades are automatic, the table and the daybeds are custom-made, as are the beautiful lamps.
The 32-acres of the villa’s grounds are the ultimate place to enjoy some quality time with the people you love, surrounded by solemn evergreen oaks and a unique panorama. All the amenities, from the heated swimming pool to the sports fields, are designed to grant you exclusive and private activities to enjoy together. If you enjoy walking, the forest has plenty of cross-country trails to follow for private and safe hikes.
The generous garden surrounding the villa extends to the forest, the olive grove and the hectare of Chianti Classico vineyard, granting total privacy and quiet. The amenities are available all year round, including the swimming pool which can be heated.
The outdoor swimming pool has been part of the history of the villa for a hundred years. The pool is framed in local pietra serena stone, and the outdoor furniture is of Italian design. The evergreen forest surrounds a regular-sized tennis court, with a well-kept grass turf. Thanks to the goals on the side of the court, it can be used to play soccer.
The property benefits from three different spots where you can eat alfresco: near the vegetable garden, the pool and the tennis court. An elegant outdoor theater greets you with its stunning view of Florence with the Duomo in the distance, surrounded by original statues depicting the seasons.

Due to its strategic setting, you can reach all the major attractions of Tuscany in less than an hour.
