On arrival you will be met at Catania International Airport by the villa staff member, who will accompany you to the car-rental company and then guide you safely home.
The main house offers 8 exquisite bedrooms, 4 of them on the upper garden level and further 4 at ground garden level. All are furnished with exceptional antiques and vintage pieces and offer private balconies or direct access to the gardens around the villa.
On the upper level of the house guests can enjoy the library. It is a place that offers you to take pause and unwind in comfort soft lighting and with garden views. Have a cup of tea or a glass of organic orange juice while you look through fine-art photography magazines or enjoy any of the amazing local history books that the hosts make available to guests of the villa.
Take a short stroll through the garden to reach the orangerie, which includes the homey greenhouse living room and dining area. It is "the heart" of the villa with its wonderful lava stone fireplace that provides warmth and ambience in the long autumn evenings. The roomy and cozy living area is an ideal place for conversation, reading or simply enjoying the landscape visible through the wide windows. Adjacent is the dining-room where guests can enjoy private meals, or as many as 60 people can be accommodated comfortably for special events. Beautifully detailed with Biendermaier antiques, walls adorned with family-portraits, a lovely collection of Sicilian porcelain; meals are always an unforgettable occasion in the orangerie.
Bedroom 1, on the lower garden level, closest to the pool, is shaded and therefore offers a refreshing escape from the sunniest summer months. It has a traditional Sicilian bamboo ceiling and twin beds with detailed vintage headboards that easily transform into large double bed. The en-suite bathroom with tub is adorned with ceramic tiles handmade in nearby Caltagirone, a Unesco - historical town, well-known for its artisan craft.
Bedroom 2 is connected by a hallway to the nearby bedroom 1, which when opened can form a two-room suite. It features the same traditional bamboo ceiling, king size bed set inside an oriental alcove and bathroom with a large shower area and a walk-in dressing-room.
Bedroom 3 is connected to the nearby bedroom 4 by an adjoining foyer, on the lower garden-level. Bedroom 3 is characterized by its charming vaulted ceiling, white walls and dark wood period furnishings. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower. Charm is accented to the cool and refreshing ambience by its view and aromas of surrounding orange groves, rose gardens and rosemary and lavender shrubs.
Twin of the nearby bedroom 3 with which it can be transformed into a suite through the adjoining foyer, bedroom 4 is characterized by the same vaulted ceiling detail and period furniture, such as the mother of pearl inlaid headboards, combined to create a cozy and private ambience. The carefully detailed bathroom is equipped with a bathtub. wake up in the morning to the subtle sound of the nearby water garden, the fragrant breeze of orange blossoms and the morning sun that fills the room with light.
Shades of lush greens remind of the surrounding scented garden in bedroom 5, on the upper level. It is connected to the neighboring bedroom 6 with pond view, and can be opened to create a double-suite. Featuring twin beds that are easily transformed into a king, bedroom 5 offers private bathroom with shower and a private balcony with garden view.
Influenced by 300 years of Arab-Sicilian culture, bedroom 7, placed on the main floor of the villa, has a charming beamed ceiling, Moorish - inspired furniture and oriental furnishings all immersed in exotic but warm colors. The bathroom with shower features "Mudejar" ceramic tiles.
Situated on the main level of the house is the bedroom 8, a generous suite with a bedroom and separate living room designed in shades of sky blue that complement its sunlit atmosphere. It boasts two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub, both decorated with handmade ceramic Sicilian tiles. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed with Spanish period headboard. The living room opens to your own large private 45sq. m terrace overlooking Mount Etna and the gardens below.
The guest house includes its own living room with access to a pergola and further 2 bedrooms with direct access to the garden. Bedroom 9 has double bed and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 10 features twin beds and en-suite shower room.
