This wonderful 700 sq. m villa, situated in Aleomandra, a mere 10-minute drive from Mykonos town, from the first sight reminds about the traditions of the region with its ideally white cubic shape surrounded by dry stones and southern vegetation. Its vivid and cozy interior is a dip in the 70s with decoration in bright colors and geometric patterns. But the main perk is that the house is really right on the water granting you access to a private beach in a few moments. The magnificent swimming pool and terrace seem plunge into the sea. When the sun is at its highest, retreat to the shaded summer dining room, the ideal spot to enjoy a tasty meal prepared on the grill and a cocktail from the alfresco bar.
From the parking area, a staircase brings you down to the villa and a large door welcomes you into the living room with high ceilings and a big sofa, as well as a terrace on the left-hand side facing the sea. This level also includes the master bedroom (50 sq. m) with double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, double sinks and outdoor Jacuzzi, as well as walk-in closet, study room and private outdoor lounge area with sea and sunset view.
On the opposite side of the living room you will find the kitchen, which adjoins a backyard area where you can have breakfast while being protected from the sun and wind. In front of the kitchen there are two big tables seating up to 20 guests for lunch or dinner. Outside the living area, you can enjoy an outdoor cinema and watch movies or Netflix in the evenings.
The top level of the main building houses two guest bedrooms offering sea and sunset view: bedroom 2 (25 sq. m) with twin/double bed and en-suite bathroom with double sink and shower and bedroom 3 (22 sq. m) with double bed and en-suite shower room (both with access to the terrace with sun loungers).
The lower level features a generous TV room with a games table, a gym, a laundry and bedroom 4 (50 sq. m) with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, sea view and independent access. 2 staff rooms are also available: one with 2 single beds and bathroom and the other with 1 set of bunk beds.
From the car park, you can also see the loft-style guesthouse that can sleep up to four guests in its bedroom 5 (70 sq. m) with 2 double beds and a huge bathroom with double showers and double sink. A short walk down through the landscaped gardens from the main house will bring you to the swimming pool (7 × 14, 0.5-2.5 m deep), which is equipped with a bar, outdoor shower and an entertainment area. As you continue towards the sea, there’s a gate that leads down to the sandy beach, which is private for the property. The villa guests can use the daybeds and an umbrella. A short walk to the left takes you to a larger beach.
The good thing about this villa is its convenient location as you can reach the restaurants and boutiques of Mykonos Town in 10 minutes while the airport is about a 15 minutes drive from the property. Closer is the village of Ornos (just a 10 minutes walk away) in case you need to buy a newspaper or some fresh fish from the market. The villa is mainly surrounded by chic residences and a few hotels, as well as several fashionable restaurants.
The setting grants you absolute privacy plus some of the most amazing sunsets on Mykonos. This peninsula is the closest land point to the sacred island of Delos, and offers scenic views of this and other nearby Cycladic islands.
Mykonos is famous for its beaches where you can swim and relax during the day, as well as its nightclubs. But there are also great museums, boutique shops and fantastic restaurants. Many guests like to take boat tours to explore the surrounding coastline and islands.
