This waterfront villa with designer interior is located just steps from the sea and within walking distance to St Stephano, on one of Corfu’s most picturesque beaches. The four-bedroom property is set on Kerasia beach, with a large olive grove behind it. Surrounded by a fence, the villa keeps its guests' privacy while being a stone's throw away from the sea. At the far end of the beach, you will find a family-owned Kerasia Taverna, serving traditional dishes. It's a superb place for a long lunch or sunset drinks. Guests can also use the taverna’s wooden jetty for boat hire.
The interiors have recently been finished with the greatest taste by famous designer Tino Zervudachi. Light-toned walls emphasize lovely furniture pieces and objects of art, creating an elegant combination of texture and pattern with a fresh, modern flair. A light, contemporary kitchen features a double-height ceiling, walls decorated with bright prints, and a spacious indoor dining area. The generous open-plan living room, with a fireplace and a beautiful set of sofas and armchairs, opens onto the garden and terrace.
All bedrooms are en-suite with shower rooms, air-conditioned, and offer access to the terrace. Double beds are dressed in crisp white bed linen and adorned with charming fabric-covered headboards. One of the bedrooms can be set up as a twin.
A wide shaded terrace adjoins the house, boasting an alfresco dining area and a summer lounge with a built-in coal BBQ. There’s plenty of outdoor space to set loungers to soak up the sun or relax in the shade, and guests can refresh in the infinity pool (12 × 4,5 m), which has been raised so you can admire the view.
Note: Kerasia Beach is quite popular; it can get crowded during the day, especially in high season, while staying pretty calm in the mornings and evenings. Cars also park on the beach.
St Stephano is a 25-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away. E-bike hire is also available. This lovely fishing village offers tavernas, shops, bars, and boat hire. You can also visit Kouloura, within a picturesque 15-20-minute walk down a coastal path. Here you will find an iconic house, once a Venetian fort, and a traditional taverna. For more restaurants, bars, and relaxed nightlife, Kassiopi is a 20-minute drive.
