This exclusive traditional villa (338 sqm) boasts an exceptional location, just a 5-minute walk from the historic town of Eygalières. Discover the authenticity and refinement of this remarkable Provençal home, which is the true embodiment of the unique lifestyle preserved in Provence for centuries.
The house has been designed with particular attention to both its exterior and interior architecture, as well as the selection of materials and first-class amenities. The spirit of a traditional family home is combined with modern comforts and facilities. The villa is surrounded by a large garden covering 9,200 sqm, which captures all the aromas and charm of the Alpilles. Enjoy the privilege of living in Eygalières, one of the mysterious gems of southern France, set amidst a thousand-year-old landscape.
The gardens are fully enclosed and feature a lovely swimming pool (5 × 16 m) and a pétanque court – all that’s left to do is grab a glass of pastis and invite your friends over! The dining pergola is right outside the kitchen, making it easy to organise alfresco meals and providing a wonderful backdrop for unforgettable dining. There are also several outdoor seating areas where you can enjoy cocktails, a cup of coffee or settle down with a book.
The space, designed by architects, exudes a light, airy ambience, creating a relaxing and peaceful setting. The entrance hall leads into a bright and spacious living room with a large open stone fireplace, comfortable sofas and views of the landscaped garden and swimming pool. From here, you can access the large, modern, fully equipped kitchen.
The practical layout comprises three bedrooms downstairs, including two double (180 × 200 cm) and a children’s room with four single beds (90 × 200 cm), and three double bedrooms (180 × 200 cm) upstairs, all with en-suite bathrooms (bath and/or shower, washbasin and toilet). Both master bedrooms feature a hammam shower. The rooms are equipped with reversible air conditioning, ensuring comfort all year round.
Step outside your villa grounds and stroll along the road to the centre of Eygalières, which is about a 5–10-minute walk away. It is a charming village with lovely café terraces, perfect for relaxing with a glass of rosé, as well as excellent restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Maison Hache. It’s no surprise that several A-list celebrities have bought homes here. Stroll through the cobbled streets to the top of the village to admire the panoramic views, and don’t miss the Friday morning market on Rue de la République.
This villa is a great base for exploring other parts of Provence. Start with neighbouring Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, with its art galleries and lively Wednesday morning market, then spend some time exploring one of ‘France’s most beautiful villages’ – Les Baux-de-Provence. There is another delightful market in the gastronomic town of Maussane-les-Alpilles, or head to Arles, a 45-minute drive away, to enjoy food, wine, art and history.
In the other direction, you’ll find antique shops in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Avignon, canoeing opportunities near Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, and even more incredible scenery throughout the Luberon, with iconic hilltop villages such as Gordes and Ménerbes just over half an hour away.
