The Beauregard plateau is a great choice for cross-country skiers, and there’s lots to do for non-skiers too. There’s an ice-skating rink and cinema in La Clusaz, or you could try sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the village’s heated outdoor pool and spa. Whatever you choose to do, at the end of the day there’ll be a warm welcome waiting at PRA 0282. In the summer , the telecabine means you’re perfectly placed to enjoy all the summer sports the Aravis mountains have to offer. Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the telecabine ferry you and your bike to the top, so you can come back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding. The mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with tracks and paths, so take a picnic and make a day of it. The beautiful lakeside town of Annecy is just 30 minutes away by car, and is a great place for a day out. The lake is said to be the cleanest in Europe and in the summer it’s a lovely place for water sports, cycling, swimming or you can just hire a boat and explore the lakeside beaches. If you just want to relax, why not soak up the sun from the hot tub or balcony. Later, you can make the most of the long summer evenings at a local restaurant, or fire up the barbecue in the garden at PRA 0282.
