The chalet is close to the center of Courchevel 1300 (Le Praz) and to the cable car that allows you to reach Courchevel 1850 in just a few minutes. Le Praz is the genuine village of Courchevel. Its narrow streets, chalets, and old farmhouses symbolize its timeless soul. With its lake and ski jump built for the Albertville Olympic Games 1992, Le Praz benefits from a wide choice of winter and summer activities for everyone to enjoy.
The chalet (397 sqm) is divided into 4 levels joined by a central staircase. The chalet's elegant architectural design features stone and wood cladding and generous living areas. The interior decor is thought through to the smallest detail, with soft colors and soothing materials.
Smooth alpine wood decorates the living area, which occupies the top level. The contemporary fireplace is the focal point of this room, creating a warm, convivial ambiance to relax. The spacious living room, split into two lounges, offers the perfect evening comfort to curl up in front of the TV at the end of each day. The long wooden dining table invites the whole group to enjoy each meal together. The kitchen is set next to the dining area. A charming breakfast bar gives this space a simple yet elegant feel. The space boasts a 360° view due to its bay windows leading onto a terrace and wide balcony.
Up to 12 guests can sleep in the 5 large bedrooms, each offering a typical chalet design to complement the living room. The master bedroom boasts a large double bed (200 × 200), a dressing area, balcony access, and an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, and independent toilet to ensure maximum comfort during your stay. Three other double bedrooms (2 × 180 × 200 and 1 × 160 × 200) feature en-suite bathrooms while two of them can be arranged as twins for added flexibility. The chalet benefits from a fabulous location close to the slopes. For skiing purposes, the Le Praz gondola and Forêt chairlift are both a 3-minute drive away from the chalet, and the shuttle service to the slopes is provided. Alternatively, a 2-3 minute walk will bring you to the red Brigues piste, which confident skiers can use to ski down to the lifts. Both lifts offer several superb options, with the Le Praz gondola taking you up towards Courchevel 1850 providing a great family day out skiing. The Forêt chairlift brings you out towards La Tania, a quieter skiing area offering a variety of slopes for mixed abilities.
There are a few bars, restaurants, and shops in the lovely center of Courchevel Le Praz, a 5-minute walk from the chalet. Courchevel 1850 offers more options and can be accessed via the Le Praz gondola, which runs until 11:30 pm and is only 10 10-minute walk from the chalet.
